Universe/Infinity: Advent by Event

“Life” as defined by earthlings is merely a by-product of the existence of the Universe, itself. From the perspective of the host, the greater Organ, that is to say, the Universe, itself, “Life” is not precious, “Life” is not miraculous , “Life” is not sacred. It just “IS”. “Life” is no more precious than a supernova, from which all known “life” springs. “Life” is no more miraculous than a galactic cluster. “Life” is no more sacred than a Black Hole.
The NATURE of the Universe is that it is observable.
The NATURE of the Universe is that constituent parts thereof have emerged, who and which are capable of making observations.
When we earthlings observe the universe in a scientific process almost all we see are inanimate”events”, without an animate entity behind the scenes causing the events. Hereinafter when I say “event” I mean an inanimate occurrence, when I say “entity” I mean an animate entity.
When a volcano erupts, when an earthquake shakes, when a hurricane thunders and blows, those are merely events, and there is no entity observable causing those events. Of course, pre-modern humans attributed such to various and sundry gods, and dogmatists arose who said those events were triggered by a god-entity to punish humans for some moral/religious/political/familial/societal transgression. But, never, never , never has an entity actually been observed causing those events.
When humans train their eyes to the sky and unleash their most powerful tools for cosmological observation—Hubble,gamma ray, x-ray,ultraviolet,infrared, microwave, radio, particle detector etc telescopes—we see billions upon billions of events.
We see the comet Shoemaker Levy 9 plow into Jupiter leaving holes in its atmosphere literally bigger than the earth, itself.
We see spiral galaxies, not unlike our own Milky Way, with billions of stars and potentially quadrillions of planets.
We see “stellar nurseries”, massive clouds of hydrogen gas and dust, from whence stars and galaxies are just emerging.
We see galactic clusters, large assemblies of families of galaxies gravitationally reacting to eachother.
We see Black Holes, billions of time more massive than our sun, sucking in all stars, planets, and matter within their ambit, and so powerful that not even light can escape their pull.
We see galaxies whose light has been traveling for 13.7 BILLION years before striking our tools of observation.
But, in all this cosmological observation of events, we observe NO entity behind the curtains, pulling the levers to make these events manifest themselves.The same is true as we peer into the depths of the Atom…past the nucleus, beyond protons , past quarks, down to the Higgs Bosun, all we find are events generated by other events, with no hint of the finger of god.
Of course, man is on the verge of developing the technology to “terra-form” other planets. Most likely man will “terra-form” the moon or Mars, and convert places once inhospitable to animate life, to new oases for animate life. But, no one will suggest or believe those human effort convert those humans into “gawd-entities”~~~except any primitives who might observe the process and lack the intellectual capacity to comprehend these seemingly miraculous acts.
Is it possible some entity behind the scenes does exist who is causing these supernovas, these galactic clusters, these blackholes? Yes, but there is ZERO evidence of such. All the evidence we observe is one or more “event” causing yet another event. Let’s consider the Universe, itself. Since virtually every event we observe in the universe is the product of other events, with no evidence of an entity, isn’t it more reasonable to conclude that the ADVENT of the universe is an EVENT itself, not the product of an entity?
That is, to those who advance the “primal cause” or “cosmological argument” which has as its basic premise that something caused the Universe to exist, and this First Cause must be God, I say “not so fast”! This universe may, indeed, have a “first cause” or “primal cause”, but isn’t it a bit “animate-centric” for animate earthlings to beg the question by concluding the “first cause” must also be an entity, rather than an event? That is, how quaint. how cute, how silly that animate earthlings have a wont to think, “I’m animate, I’m a special animate entity; therefore another special super-animate entity must have caused me and everything else to exist.”
I suggest a super-massive black hole producing a singularity, called the “big bang”, could be the progenitor of this universe. I suggest this universe is but one “bubble universe” in an infinite Froth of universes. I suggest this universe is no more significant in the scope of infinity than is a single electron in a dead human skin cell sloughed off at night. I suggest there are an INFINITE number of EVENTS that could cause the existence of the universe and infinity, itself. And all there is to counter those positions is the argument of human earthlings that the “primal cause” is a single ENTITY, called god~~~and the probability of that premise being correct is that percentage represented by the fraction of “1/( over) infinity”: 1/infinity.
Were humans tomorrow to observe an ENTITY behind the scenes of any of these cosmological events, such would not alter my premise one iota inasmuch as that entity would just be one who has greater command of the laws of physics than earthlings do, not unlike 20th century man harnessing the atom and mastering our environment in ways bronze age man, much less stone age man, could never imagine nor understand. And although there would be temptation by some to denote that ENTITY a “god”, such would merely be another entity.
So, I close as I began, as we scientifically observe the cosmos and pierce the particles of the Atom all we observe are EVENTS generating other events and, thus far, NOT ONE SINGLE ENTITY , much less the face of god, the hand of the lord, the finger of an almighty.Thus, I assert the “primal cause” of all infinity is much more likely an inanimate EVENT rather than some ENTITY divined by earthlings ascribing to that ENTITY characteristics consonant with an animate origin and orientation.
“But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.”
