Yes, there’s no doubt that G. W. Bush was the worst president in U.S. history. His damage to the economy (The Great Recession), usurping of the constitution, partisanship, extreme federal deficits, two endless wars, unenforced regulation, theological war, pissing-off the rest of the world, etc. is unprecedented in history. It will take at least a generation to recover from the damage he has wrought and we might never recover from some of it.
Of course, the worst congresses in history were willing participants and share much of the blame too. And voters are to blame for voting in a man who couldn’t speak a coherent sentence.
