Take THAT!
You have to give the GAP a big round of applause! In the perfect slap across the face to the supposed “War on Christmas” crowd… you know… the CNP’s voting base… the O’Reilly, Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity loonies? Well, let’s just say that the word is these folks aren’t happy about this commercial!
Two thumbs up (and if I had a third or fourth thumb, they’d be pointing up too) to the GAP! I normally don’t like commercials, but this one is FUN! Happy Holidays!

Ain’t that a terrific commercial!
I had already bought my daughter and grandson matching mother-son t-shirts reading I love Cheeses (they’re both cheese fiends) for Xmas. This commercial made me run to The Gap to get them jeans to go with, better jeans than we usually buy.
Even if you can’t buy, go and tell them how great their commercial is. They’re taking heat from the AFA. Let’s counter that with all the positive reinforcement we can. Customer service number is 1-800-427-7895, e-mail custserv@gap.com.

They apparently are not caving in to the heat from the RR! I saw a new commercial last night that made no mention of Christmas (or any other holidays)! But did give the word free double duty (get free, go free) in a buy one sweater get one free ad. No mention of Black Friday either despite playing this week.
