Vengeance is yours!
From time to time I get email death threats. Most are words of encouragement to hurry up and die. Others aren’t so veiled. So, for the last few years I have thought long and hard about the methods with which the believer would most likely want me to expire. With these punishments in mind, I would like to invite the believers in my audience to shower me with their well wishes for a speedy and painful death. Below you will find a POLL which will give you a myriad of options on how you think best I should die. Please, take your time. There’s no hurry here. Break out your piece-of-shit, dime store, black book novel, and pray for an answer. I’m sure your skydaddy will tell you the appropriate punishment for my Atheist soul! Then, with the click of your science created and manufactured mouse, you can choose how to send me straight to hell! If you can’t decide which one to choose, write your own!

I personally don’t have strong feelings one way or the other. To me, atheism requires as much faith as theism; absence of faith is not a sufficient condition of either state. But since you asked…
Were you to meet a fate worse than Death itself, what would the Tormentor create? How about this: forced into riding with Rogelio on a hot (and capped out the ass) spring day from Norman to Goodland. The car has no air conditioning, no vent, and the windows will not roll down. And Rogelio started off the day with two servings of yogurt (primes the flora) followed by three greasy bean and cheese burritos, a half dozen hard-boiled eggs, and helping of fried cabbage, all washed down with a quart of buttermilk.

Good to hear from you my friend from the bowels of Texas! LOL! So, you’re tormentor was Rogelio? EWWW! Been there, done that, but in collusion.
You bring up an important point that needs to be addressed. But, let me ask you something first. Is there a giant pink elephant sitting on the toilet of your home right now? No? So, you’re taking that on “faith”? A person only requires “faith” to believe in something that defies logic. The definition of the word “faith” is “belief that is not based on proof”. If there is nothing real or tangible, then lack of belief is a default position. The non-existence of something is not a belief and requires no “faith”. Now, you MIGHT try and claim that I have no proof that there is no skydaddy. Well, that is a fallacy. The burden of proof lay upon the claimant. I only claim that there is no proof to support such a claim. Therefore, the burden is not mine. Look at it this way. You don’t believe in Zeus. Are you taking that on “faith” or are you taking a default position based on lack of evidence?
Thanks for the reply BC! And, as always, please take care of yourself. I’ve been following your blog, trials and tribulations. Keep fighting the good fight my friend!
